Khan Bonfils, actor popular for his roles in ‘Star Wars’ and in James
Bond's movies, died unexpectedly on stage during rehearsals for an
upcoming play.
'Khan Bonfils' who who appeared in James Bond films and also as a Jedi master
in the Star Wars franchise is dead. The actor who was aged 42,
collapsed and died during a theatre stage rehearsal on January 5, 2014.
Khan was rehearsing for 'Dante's Inferno', an upcoming play in London which was to open at The Rag Factory this week. Paramedics were unable to resuscitate Kan.
“The
entire company are in shock, There is absolutely severe sadness, it is a
real tragedy.” - Craft Theatre Company spokesperson Chris Hislop told Daily Mail.
Khan starred in the 1997 James Bond film 'Tomorrow Never Dies' and also in the 2012 'Skyfall'.
He had also starred as the Jedi master in the 1999 film 'Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace', 2005’s Batman Begins and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
