In a very sad development, a 23-year-old woman, identified as Joy Ojolede Okoh, has been
reportedly abducted, raped and murdered in Benin City by unidentified
persons on Monday.
It was reliably gathered that her body was found in the boot of an SUV at Upper Mission Extension in Benin City, southern Nigeria.
The SUV was said to have been snatched by the gunmen and used for the dastardly act before it was
abandoned.
According to Pm News, the deceased who was said to be a bread seller at Lucky Way Junction by Ramat Park, was alleged to have closed for the day’s business at about 7:30pm when she was kidnapped.
Edo Police Command spokesman, DSP Stephen Onwuchei, who confirmed the incident, said the
police have commenced investigation into the matter.
