IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has said that he doesn't know
the whereabouts of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Leader, Nnamdi
Kanu. This comes after military men on September 24 reportedly invaded
Kanu's home. Since that time, Kanu who is scheduled to appear in court
tomorrow has not been seen.Former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu said he was reliably told that Kanu had eloped to London through Malaysia but later said he didn't categorically say such.
While speaking to newsmen in Abuja at the weekend, Ikpeazu said he
has never visited Nnamdi kanu so he doesn’t have the capacity to
determine his whereabouts.
He said: “I don’t think that is a fair question. I don’t have
the capacity to determine where Kanu is. I have never visited him. I
have never called him on phone and he has never taken me into confidence
as to what he does, where he goes. So, those who are close to him would
answer. I don’t have capacity to monitor him to know where he is, maybe
journalists, through investigative journalism will know."
