Shock as 35-year-old Mother is Found Bleeding and Crawling on the Road After Her Drink Was Spiked

Amanda Partridge

Amanda Partridge, a 35-year-old mum has claimed that she was beaten and mugged, before being found bleeding and crawling on the road, after her drink was spiked on a night out.According to The Sun UK, Amanda Partridge claims she was drugged during a visit to Revolution in Southend-on-Sea, Essex on August 12.

She says her pal left their drinks unattended in a smoking area while she visited the toilet.

Amanda claims bouncers discovered her later, dragging herself down the road while covered in blood, cuts and bruises and having wet herself – while all of her money and phone had been stolen.

Amanda says she has no memory of being attacked but has since suffered flashbacks of being grabbed around the throat and her hair being pulled.

Mum-of-four Amanda, from Southend-on-Sea, said: "By the time people found me I was crawling to the taxi rank nearby trying to get help. I was dragging myself. My face was grazed.

"I was trying to make myself sick. I was slurring my words. I had blood on me and I had wet myself.

"All I know is what I've been told from the people that found me. I don't really remember anything but I've just got this thing in my head where someone had their hand over my throat and in my hair.

"The people who were there have said they knew I wasn't drunk and there was something wrong with me. My phone and money were taken.”

Amanda says after returning from the toilet she noticed her drink tasted funny and stopped drinking it, however she soon felt ill and decided to go home.

The next thing she remembers is waking up next to her children at home the following morning.

Amanda, who did not report the incident to police, said: "I don't even know how I got back. It was horrendous.

"It was me and a couple of girls and our partners on the night. The men decided to go home and said, 'you girls stay together' and that's when everything went terribly wrong.

"Someone must have watched the men leave us and thought we were easy targets.

"I've had messages from a couple of girls that have said they were drugged that night as well. They don't know anything either.

A spokesperson for Revolution said: "Revolution Bars Group strictly enforces a strong anti-drugs policy at all of its sites, including Southend-on-Sea, and take all incidents very seriously.

"We have had no other reports of any incidents that evening, but should anyone have experienced anything untoward, we urge them to contact the police. Our policy is to cooperate fully with the police and make CCTV footage readily available to them."
