Teacher removed after kicking out students for wearing Trump campaign T-shirts

A Georgia teacher has been removed from teaching a classroom after she was caught on camera comparing President Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan to swastikas last week. The teacher identified as Lyn Orletsk by local media booted two River Ridge High School students out her classroom for wearing T-shirts with the slogan, video filmed by another student and obtained by Turning Point News shows.

School Principal Darrell Herring informed parents in a letter Friday that she was no longer teaching the students and a substitute teacher was assigned to replace her.

In the video, the teacher kept demanding the students leave and explained why she didn’t allow the shirts in her class.
"The Neo-Nazis...I'm not saying about Trump, but the slogan,” the math teacher says.

The Cherokee County School District school district spokeswoman Barbara Jacoby told AJC  the teacher would face disciplinary action, but didn’t say if she’d be fired.

“Her actions were wrong, as the ‘Make America Great Again’ shirts worn by the students are not a violation of our school district dress code,” .
